Acadia National ParkAcadia National Park (Mount Desert Island) and Acadia National Park (Schoodic Section) are just a short drive to the southwest.Visit uncrowded scenic points like Quoddy and Roque Bluffs State Parks, Great Wass Nature Conservancy at Beals Island and Petit Manan Wildlife Refuge in Steuben.Hancock County offers galleries, craft shops, shopping and entertainment facilities. You pass the blueberry barrens on your way to visit historical villages such as Columbia Falls, Machias and Cherryfield. |
